**About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to deliver high-level Psychology clinical services as a member of the Healthy Ageing Assessment and Rehabilitation Team.
The Healthy Ageing Assessment and Rehabilitation Team is part of the Rehabilitation Service Stream in Community and Oral Health. The Service Stream consists of inpatient and ambulatory services across Metro North including: Brighton Rehabilitation Unit; Interim Care; Brighton Geriatric Evaluation and Management; Brighton Brain Injury Service, Community Based Rehabilitation Team (North Lakes, Chermside, Caboolture, Redcliffe) and Healthy Ageing Assessment and Rehabilitation Team-Kallangur Satellite Health Centre.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Deliver high quality, evidence-based psychology services including complex psychological assessments, preparation of psychological reports, as well as the design and implementation of evidence-based interventions.
Exercises independent professional judgement in decision-making and clinical management, handling an increasingly complex and varied caseload beyond that of day-to-day practice relevant to the discipline.
Work cooperatively and effectively with patients and their families, the multi-disciplinary team, the psychology team, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Provide clinical practice supervision to less experienced psychologists and students on placement within the Department to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within psychology services within Community and Oral Health.
