With over three decades of experience servicing the Illawarra, Physical Therapy is a well-established and highly respected provider of allied health services. Our dedicated team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Doctors are committed to supporting clients of all ages to build their capabilities, achieve their goals, and enhance their quality of life.

We work from a modern, purpose-built facility featuring private and group therapy rooms, a hydrotherapy pool, and a fully equipped gym.

We are currently seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist who is passionate about empowering clients of all abilities through compassionate and person-centred care.

About the Role

  • Deliver assessments and interventions in our clinic and in the community
  • Prescribe assistive technology (complex AT) – training provided if needed
  • Recommend environmental modifications to support independence
  • Complete ADLs, SIL, and Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA)
  • Train carers and families to promote clients' independence
  • Develop and implement capacity-building programs
  • Support clients in transitioning to new accommodation models
  • Suitable for both experienced OTs and new graduates

Essential Criteria:

  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Working with Children Check and Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current driver's licence
  • Experience with (or willingness to learn) equipment prescription and environmental modifications
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
  • High-level clinical reasoning and report writing skills
  • A passion for quality care and continuous improvement
