The Northern Schools Early Years (NSEY) is a Early Years Management group that will support 19 Early Childhood services in 2026, 17 of which are co-located on school sites. We are proud to have been announced as winners in the 2023 Department of Education's Victorian Early Years Awards for Continuity of Learning for our Kindergarten to grade 6 modeland Improving Access and Participation in Early Learning and the Ministers Award for our Kindergarten to Grade 6 (K-6)  model "Continuing of Learning".

We are committed to maximising outcomes for children in the early years, encouraging opportunities for families to be involved in their child's early education and promoting professional career support, development and well-being for our educators.

The Opportunity

We are seeking to employ experienced Early Childhood Teachers who will implement a high-quality kindergarten program at our sessional kindergartens in Hume and Merri Bek Areas. This is an opportunity to be part of an integrated Kindergarten to Grade 6 Model working in partnerships with our Primary Schools and a passionate team that is committed to supporting the best outcomes for the children and families in our diverse communities.

We have several part-time positions available for Teachers from 22.5 to 35 hours spread over 3 to 5 days per week.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• Extensive knowledge of child development and capabilities in planning, implementing and evaluating a quality early childhood education program.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and ongoing learning and development.
• A commitment to inclusion and equity, and cultural competency
• A commitment to child-safe standards
• Knowledge of and commitment to current reforms and trends in Early Childhood education and Care

You will have considerable experience in pedagogy, a strong understanding of the practice principles of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and the National Quality Standards. Our teams work alongside allied health professionals, including speech pathologists, psychologists, schools and community to deliver positive outcomes for children and families. We are seeking applicants who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of children, have a passion and commitment to child safety, cultural competency and pedagogy, want to work in partnership with the schools, community and with a supportive Early Years Management team.
