What You'll Do

As our Workshop Controller, you'll be the operational heartbeat of the service department. You will:

  • Coordinate and allocate jobs to technicians, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and manage workflows, keeping repairs on track and customers satisfied.
  • Provide technical guidance, leveraging your mechanical expertise to troubleshoot and solve challenges.
  • Drive efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between the workshop, service advisors, and management to ensure seamless communication.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Experience in a multi-franchise dealership or extensive knowledge of multiple automotive brands.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, ensuring direction is understood and actioned.
  • A proactive mindset, always seeking to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Evidence of driving efficiency and productivity in prior roles.
