What You'll Do
As our Workshop Controller, you'll be the operational heartbeat of the service department. You will:
- Coordinate and allocate jobs to technicians, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and manage workflows, keeping repairs on track and customers satisfied.
- Provide technical guidance, leveraging your mechanical expertise to troubleshoot and solve challenges.
- Drive efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Act as a liaison between the workshop, service advisors, and management to ensure seamless communication.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
What We're Looking For
- Proven organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Experience in a multi-franchise dealership or extensive knowledge of multiple automotive brands.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Clear and concise communication skills, ensuring direction is understood and actioned.
- A proactive mindset, always seeking to improve processes and outcomes.
- Evidence of driving efficiency and productivity in prior roles.
