About the opportunity
Reporting into our State Sales Manager, we are seeking an experienced sales/account management professional with a solutions-focused mindset, business development capabilities working in consumer-driven environments, with sound financial management and reporting acumen.
As a Territory Manager, you'll lead for a service-focused approach to driving growth and excellence across our pharmacy accounts. Working proactively and independently to visit multiple sites throughout the week, being able to prioritise and hold yourself accountable will be key to your success You'll also be responsible for:
- Nurturing and developing existing relationships and accounts across the territory
- Maximising sales and gross profit across the pharmacy accounts
- Identifying new business opportunities through new business leads, utilising data analytics and market insights
- Managing key accounts with excellence, conducting regular reviews and strategic discussions
- Leveraging CRM and IMS data to uncover risks, opportunities, and drive performance
- Ensuring budget targets are met or exceeded
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will possess the following key skills and experience:
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally in consumer environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and trade data
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and planning abilities
- A customer-first mindset and a calm, systematic approach under pressure
- Confident public speaker and assured communicator
- Organised, results-oriented, and a natural team player
- Strategic thinker with a flair for lateral problem-solving
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
The successful candidate will be required to travel by car across multiple sites within their territory daily, therefore holding a valid full driver's licence will be required.
To operate seamlessly and optimally in this role, the successful candidate will receive all required tools of the trade including mobile phone, laptop, corporate credit card and company car to avoid any out-of-pocket expenses.
