Executive Housekeeper – Family Assistant
Double Bay, NSW
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full time hours.

Our clients in Double Bay are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper – Family Assistant to help manage the smooth day-to-day running of their home. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organisational skills, initiative, and a high attention to detail. The right person will be polished yet practical, kind but professional, and bring a calm and capable energy to the home.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Liaise and manage external service providers including gardeners, trades, appliance technicians

  • Provide personal assistance including steaming clothing, unpacking luggage, preparing light meals and helping manage to family calendar

  • Maintain impeccable home organisation across kitchen spaces, wardrobes, playroom, storage areas and wine cellar

  • Manage household errands including groceries, dry cleaning, mail and storage

  • Support entertaining: set tables, maintain flowers, tidy outdoor spaces and assist with guest hospitality

  • Step in to assist with housekeeping if a staff member is away (e.g., making beds, tidying kitchen, light laundry)

  • Drive children to and from activities when needed (vehicle provided)

Requirements;

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in a private home

  • Current Police Check and Working With Children Check

  • Full, clean Driver's Licence

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and basic Excel

  • Able to use a clothes steamer and iron

  • Set a table beautifully

  • Sew a button if needed

  • Takes pride in organisation of household items

  • Arrange flowers well

  • Manage a spreadsheet for example a wine cellar or storage inventory

  • Fit, capable and confident navigating stairs and managing physical tasks

This is a long-term position suited to someone who genuinely enjoys keeping a home running beautifully and being a thoughtful support to a busy household.
