**Position Overview**:
As our House Manager/Cook, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that will help maintain our household and support our family’s needs. This role includes light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, dinner preparation, and running errands, among other responsibilities. We are looking for a professional who has experience in high-end services and possesses a can-do attitude to tackle the unique challenges of our home.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Light Housekeeping**: Maintain a clean and organized home environment, including general tidying up.
- **Laundry and Ironing**: Manage the family’s laundry, ensuring clothes are cleaned, pressed, and returned to appropriate wardrobes.
- **Grocery Shopping**: Plan and execute grocery shopping to keep the kitchen stocked with healthy and fresh ingredients.
- **Dinner Preparation**: Plan and prepare nutritious, delicious meals for the family, accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences.
- **Running Errands**: Handle various errands, including picking up dry cleaning, shopping for household necessities, and other tasks as needed.
- **Organizing Repair Work**: Coordinate with contractors and service providers for household repairs and maintenance.
- **Event Planning**: Assist in planning and organizing family events, gatherings, or celebrations, ensuring all details are managed.
- **Coordination with Cleaners**: Liaise with cleaning staff to ensure that cleaning schedules are maintained and tasks completed efficiently.
- **Car Maintenance**: Oversee the upkeep of family vehicles, including scheduling maintenance and cleaning as necessary.
- **Pet Care**: Look after family pets, including feeding, walking, and attending to their needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a house manager or cook in a high-end service environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a pleasant demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- A proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and solve problems as they arise.
- Trustworthy and dependable is a must.
- Flexibility within a dynamic environment is very important.

**Pay & Benefits**:

- Annual salary equates to approximately an 8 hour day with additional superannuation.
- Salary offered is based on experience.
- Experience as a house manager is not necessary but experience in high-end services is preferable.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
