Bluu Media House, a growing media agency based on Australia's Gold Coast specializing in high-impact digital content for brands, is on the hunt for their Short-Form Video Editor to create engaging Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts We're helping them fill this position.

If you're passionate about viral short-form content creation and excited to make an impact in a performance-driven environment, this is the right role for you.

Requirements:

  • You have proven experience editing short-form social media content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) with a strong portfolio
  • You're proficient in editing software including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
  • You have deep understanding of viral trends, hooks, and platform algorithms for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • You have reliable internet and ability to meet deadlines in a remote, flexible work environment
  • You have great communication skills and can collaborate effectively via Slack
  • You can follow provided guidelines and instructions while maintaining creative flair
  • You're able to submit edits for feedback and iterate quickly based on team input
  • You understand how to blend entertainment with brand messaging seamlessly
  • You're a hustler passionate about creating content that pops and drives results

Responsibilities:

  • Edit provided raw footage into polished, native-feeling short-form videos seconds)
  • Create hundreds of reels monthly for various brand clients and potentially agency content
  • Use editing tools to add hooks, trends, effects, memes, and transitions for maximum virality
  • Transform raw footage into engaging content that blends entertainment with brand messaging
  • Follow workflow guidelines and collaborate remotely via team platforms
  • Submit edits for feedback and iterate quickly to meet client expectations
  • Stay current with viral trends and platform algorithm changes across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Work within a clip-based pay structure with potential for performance bonuses tied to viral content
  • Maintain consistent quality and brand voice across multiple client projects
  • Meet deadlines consistently while working flexible remote hours
