We are seeking an experienced and mature Technician, who is looking to move off the tools and to impart their knowledge and experience onto our ever expanding team.

About this Role:

Based in our Devonport dealership, this role will focus on quality control, road testing and inspections of all vehicles serviced at the Devonport dealership. Depending on your experience and expertise, other supervisory duties may also be available.

About You:

With a passion for customer service and the safety of our customers at the forefront of your mind, you are technically skilled with many years of experience to fall back on. You are someone who genuinely  enjoys your role and takes pride in upskilling other technicians.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Service Manager and working in a highly trained technical team, you will be responsible for:

  • Road test vehicles and determine if faults have been resolved
  • Carry out safety checks with a high level of attention to detail
  • Carrying out per purchase mechanical inspections
  • Provide technical knowledge and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices

Skills & Experience:

  • High Level of attention to detail
  • Experience in a range of systems including modern diesel & petrol engines
  • Excellent diagnostic, communication and problem-solving skills
  • A positive attitude and a proactive nature
  • The ability to work both unsupervised and in a team environment
  • A current manual driver's licence
