**About the Role**

NOV are searching for a full-time mechanical fitter apprentice.

Apprentice Mechanical Fitter/Service Technicians are responsible for conducting repairs, maintenance & pressure testing to customer and rental pressure control equipment. Plus receiving of goods, stocking of store, sending equipment to 3rd party, driving forklift, general upkeep of NOV yard and facility keeping the workshop and associated equipment in a safe, clean and tidy condition.

These are the roles that you may undertake within this apprenticeship and lead you in your journey to becoming fully qualified
- Ensuring that products are assembled in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Perform servicing, certification or re-recertification of equipment **under supervision**.
- List parts required for a job and request parts, as well as retrieval.
- Correctly complete all service-related paperwork, including service reports, work orders & assembly data sheets.
- Maintain upkeep of company’s equipment, reporting losses or breakages to the person-in-charge/senior/manager and keeping it locked when not in use.
- Proficiently use all components, equipment, tools and techniques in the workshop.
- To be available for field service trips & commissioning of equipment, including local, offshore and overseas locations, **when required plus fully competent.**:

- Ensuring the quality our procedures and products.
- Consider the safety of others and yourself and report all incidents promptly.

**About You**

To be successful in this role they would prefer someone:

- With a pre-app or relevant experience (even just some knowledge of tools)
- A driver's license (manual or auto)
- Reliable vehicle
- A genuine interest in the industry
