The Opportunity
  • Full time, fixed term position until June 2027 based in Melbourne.
  • VPS Grade 5 role: $113,022 - $136,747 per year plus superannuation.
  • Implementation planning and operational readiness for reforms under the Youth Justice Act.
  • Support stakeholder consultation, communication and governance for Youth Justice Act implementation across DJCS and partner justice agencies.
  • Prepare briefs, reports, cabinet submissions and advice for DJCS executives, the DJCS Secretary and Ministers relating to Youth Justice.
  • Lead the development of legal policy products (including regulations) associated with the Youth Justice Act.
