Lead and inspire our housing support team by managing waitlists, guiding case managers, and ensuring quality service delivery in homelessness programs across Southwest Metro and Peel. Drive recruitment, training, supervision, and contribute to reports and funding to create stable homes and brighter futures. As a Senior Housing Case Manager you will:

  • Manage waitlist for the programs in consultation with the Service Support Officer and Housing Coordinator
  • Provide operational leadership to Housing Case Managers
  • Support with recruitment and staff selection, training, induction, performance management
  • Provide client-focused reflective practice consultations and supervision to Housing Case Managers
  • Contributing to reports and grant/funding applications

This is a part time (0.9FTE, 9-day fortnight) permanent role based in Rockingham.

About You

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated case management experience
  • Strong understanding of housing systems, tenancy management, and related issues such as mental health, AOD and FDV
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support staff while ensuring trauma-informed, client-centred, and high-quality service delivery
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills to work effectively across agencies and sectors.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in high-pressure, evolving environments.

Desirable

  • Knowledge and experience with the Advance to Zero approach and data-driven methods to reduce homelessness
  • Tertiary qualifications in community services, social work, or a related field
  • Experience working within Housing First, homelessness, or tenancy support programs.
  • Ability to contribute to program development, continuous improvement, and systems change initiatives.

The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Card and a WA Drivers Licence. You will also need to access to a reliable vehicle with mileage being reimbursed.

Also:-

  • Salary from $99,469 per annum pro rata + 12% superannuation
  • Salary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses
  • Additional 3 days leave per year over festive period
