About the role

Mario's Italian Restaurant in Broadbeach, Queensland is seeking passionate and experienced Wait Staff to join our team. This is a casual role, offering flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. As a member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Taking food and beverage orders accurately and communicating them to the kitchen and bar staff
  3. Delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely and organised fashion
  4. Addressing customer requests and resolving any issues that arise
  5. Maintaining a clean and tidy dining area, including resetting tables and restocking condiments
  6. Assisting with side tasks such as side-work, inventory, and other duties as required

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a restaurant or cafe setting
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide friendly and attentive service
  3. Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities to handle the fast-paced environment
  4. Flexible and adaptable, with the willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  5. A passion for food, wine, and providing an exceptional dining experience
