Wanneroo Patios is a rapidly growing and successful business specialising in the design and installation of custom-built patios, pergolas, carports, and more across the greater Perth region. In addition to our core services, we also supply and install aluminium gates, screening, and fencing, including D.I.Y. kits for home improvement projects.

Due to continued growth and success in the industry, we're looking for a Draftsperson / Designer to join our collaborative, close-knit team. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic company that values innovation, attention to detail, and career development.

About the Role

You'll play a key part in bringing our outdoor structures to life by producing accurate, high-quality working drawings that meet council and building regulations. You'll work alongside our Installers, Project Managers, and Suppliers to turn ideas into beautifully finished outdoor living solutions.

Please note: This role requires a working knowledge of R-Codes and BCA regulations

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop designs for various patios, carports, and more
  • Produce working drawings and plans for our team of Installers
  • Process purchase orders to our suppliers for materials
  • Assist the Council with any designs / structural engineering enquiries as required

The successful candidate will require the following:

  • Minimum 2 years of design experience
  • Highly developed computer skills, including proficiency in the use of Microsoft office and CAD Software including Sketch Up and Layout
  • Working knowledge of R-Codes and BCA regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to handle a variable workload and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A valid C-Class driver's licence
