Revesby NSW, Australia Koinonia Enterprises PTY LTD Full time $57,980 - $133,747 per year

We're Hiring: Field Supervisor – Telecommunications

Sydney based with travel to regional areas

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Supervisor to join our growing telecommunications team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading field operations and delivering wireless and 5G projects to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and supervise telecom site construction, upgrades, installation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
  • Review and approve site documentation, including method statements, as-built drawings, and handover packs (HOP).
  • Monitor project KPIs, budgets, and progress reporting to senior management.
  • Report daily progress and challenges to the Project Manager and align actions.
  • Troubleshoot telecom systems to maintain reliable service.
  • Manage client and supplier relationships to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
  • Support logistics, project delivery, and resource planning in collaboration with Supply Chain and Operations.

Safety & Quality First

Safety isn't just a box to tick — it's at the heart of everything we do. As Field Supervisor, you will:

  • Act as the primary safety authority on all allocated projects.
  • Enforce WHS/OHS regulations, SWMS, and all job-specific safety standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
  • Champion and enforce a Zero Harm culture, ensuring no compromises on safety.
  • Ensure all staff are fully trained, certified, and equipped with the right PPE.
  • Manage vehicle inspections, service logs, and incident reporting.
  • Ensure an internal quality audit is completed one week after site completion, before HOP submission.
  • Interface directly with clients and quality auditors during QA visits and enhancement reviews.
  • Audit the warehouse weekly to maintain compliance and prevent redundant or scraped materials from accumulating.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Lead, motivate, and support field teams including riggers, civil crews, and subcontractors.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
  • Deliver field training, including technical and safety training for new and existing staff.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience in managing telecommunications field projects (wireless/5G preferred).
  • Expertise in quality assurance and safety leadership.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Engineering / Telecommunications background preferred.
  • Must hold a valid Australian work right.
