Martin-Baker Australia is seeking applications from personnel interested in a role at their RAAF Base Pearce workshop in Perth, Western Australia. The workshop maintains PC-21 Ejection Seats and associated systems. This position will have the successful candidate working on PC-21 Parachutes, Personal Survival Kits, Seats & Canopy maintenance in a DASA Part 145 & ISO 9001:2015 environment.
The position is a 4-day work week, please note that there is no shift or weekend work but do require some flexibility if away. The day to day will comprise of working closely with the team, generating paperwork, accurately and progressively documenting maintenance, carrying out maintenance, data entry, inventory management, workshop upkeep and other duties as required. We also carry out maintenance on our support equipment and all tools are provided with redundancies available.
We participate in internal and external training, audits and get involved with supporting activities. Martin-Baker Australia offers professional development to candidates to further enhance their skill sets.
You:

Current CH16C training and experience is essential.

Hands on experience conducting maintenance; disassembly, assembly, inspection and testing.

Able to read technical publications and accurately interpret drawings.

Strong team player, resilient, open to feedback and has strong attention to detail.

Organised to ensure your work is completed on time and to the highest of standards.

IT skills – proficient computer navigation and has office outlook exposure.

Sewing machine skills are an advantage.

Must be able to obtain the necessary security clearances such as a Defence Access Card and Working with Children Checks

Willing to travel interstate on occasion as some travel may be involved.
