About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel-level tax lawyer to join a busy and growing team. You'll work across a broad range of matters including:

  • Income and capital gains tax, M&A and financing transactions, corporate restructures, and trusts
  • Providing tax structuring and due diligence advice on complex corporate transactions
  • Acting in ATO reviews, audits, and dispute resolution matters
  • Collaborating with corporate, commercial, and property teams on cross-practice transactions

You'll be supported by respected partners who value technical excellence and initiative, with the opportunity to work on challenging, partner-led matters while enjoying flexibility, mentorship, and genuine scope for career advancement.

About You:

  • 6 years + in corporate or commercial tax, ideally from a law firm or Big 4 environment
  • Strong technical grounding in direct taxation (income, CGT, corporate tax)
  • Experience advising on transactions, restructures, or financing matters
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
