In this technical role, you'll take charge of programming and operating our 5-axis CNC machine, transforming detailed drawings into precision parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Develop and optimise CNC programs from customer drawings using advanced CAD/CAM software
- Machine Operation: Operate and maintain the 5-axis CNC machine centre
- Quality & Safety: Ensure that all programs meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
- Testing: Check completed programs by running simulations or tests.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and ensure smooth workflow.
- Technical Support: Serve as the primary technical resource for CNC operators, providing guidance on machine setup and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CAM programming
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in 5 Axis Machining
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. Mastercam, SolidWorks)
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and 3D models
