We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Astronomy Guide to host unforgettable stargazing experiences for our tour guests in the Blue Mountains, NSW.

About the Role

You will guide small groups under the pristine night skies of the Blue Mountains, using your own telescope or stargazing equipment to showcase stars, planets, constellations, and deep-sky objects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead evening stargazing sessions in the Blue Mountains.
  • Set up and operate your own telescope/equipment.
  • Teach guests about constellations, planets, galaxies, and the Milky Way.
  • Share astronomy knowledge in an engaging and accessible way.
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants
  • Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of astronomy and the southern night sky.
  • Must have your own telescope or similar equipment suitable for group viewing.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage audiences of all ages.
  • Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic about sharing the universe.
  • Based in or able to travel to Blue Mountains, NSW for evening sessions.
