Workfast are currently seeking an experienced Final Trim Roller Operator to join our client's civil construction team working on major road and infrastructure upgrades in the Townsville area.

  • $44/hr + penalties
  • October 2025 start
  • Townsville region

About you

  • Hold a valid and current RII Roller Ticket
  • Proven experience operating a final trim roller on road or civil projects
  • Strong understanding of compaction testing requirements and final trim tolerances
  • Minimum 3–4 years' experience in similar civil construction roles
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently within a team environment
  • Additional tickets highly regarded

What you'll be doing

  • Operating a final trim roller to achieve specified compaction and surface levels
  • Working closely with other operators to deliver high-quality finish work
  • Completing daily pre-start checks and reporting maintenance issues
  • Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all site procedures
  • Assisting with general civil duties as required
