About the role

A new and up-and-coming 24-hour health and fitness club in Mandurah, WA is currently undergoing an exciting transformation—and we want you to be part of it We're seeking an experienced and passionate Gym Manager/Instructor/PT to help shape the future of our club. This full-time role offers an incredible opportunity to be exposed to and involved in the evolution of a growing facility at a pivotal stage.

You'll lead a fun, friendly, and supportive team environment, with a strong focus on community, wellness, and helping members achieve lasting change. If you have a background in gym, HYROX, Pilates, yoga, sauna and recovery, or transformation coaching for bikini, fitness or bodybuilding competitions—we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the gym and team, creating a high-performing, energised environment

  • Leading and delivering engaging group fitness classes, including Pilates, Reformer, and functional training

  • Providing personalised coaching for members across all fitness levels, including transformation programs

  • Recruiting, developing, and motivating a team of instructors, PTs, and wellness coaches

  • Supporting our evolving offerings in HYROX-style training, yoga, recovery (including sauna), and competition prep

  • Contributing to marketing and retention strategies to grow the membership base

  • Ensuring all facilities and equipment, including Pilates Reformers and recovery areas, are maintained to the highest standards

  • Analysing club performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

  • Delivering excellent customer service and helping foster a strong sense of belonging within our community

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Gym Manager, Fitness Instructor, or Personal Trainer

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate III/IV in Fitness, Pilates, Yoga, Group Fitness Instructor certifications)

  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: Pilates/Reformer, HYROX, yoga, sauna/recovery services, competitive prep (bikini, fitness, or bodybuilding), or transformation coaching

  • Proven ability to build rapport with members and create a positive, encouraging atmosphere

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills

  • A passion for health, fitness, and community

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
