This role plays a key part in supporting Apex Display's continued growth and reputation for quality. Working as part of a high-performing team, you'll be responsible for transforming materials into premium timber products, ensuring they're expertly finished and packaged for delivery to our customers. With every order being unique, this position requires flexibility, strong communication, and forward thinking. You'll contribute to the development and streamlining of systems and processes, helping the business grow stronger and more efficient. • Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time.

• Reliable mode of transport to and from work

• Familiarity with basic hand-tool use

• Familiarity with IT use, including ERP software, Microsoft Office

• Forklift license

• Manual drivers license preferred

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly-line or production work preferred

• Fully vaccinated (as per current government definition)

Tasks & responsibilities

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow production workers, and Store Operators to understand daily workflows, monitor order progress, and maintain smooth production operations.
• Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain factory machinery and production line equipment safely and efficiently to support consistent output and productivity.
• Product Assembly: Finish and assemble goods on the production line in accordance with job lists, guidelines, and quality standards.
• Packing & Integration: Accurately pack goods for shipping, including combining finished products with warehouse items to complete customer orders.
• Process Monitoring: Monitor the production process to minimise defects, promptly remove faulty products, and maintain a high level of quality control.
• Storage & Handling: Store goods and raw materials securely and systematically in designated storage areas to support efficient workflow and inventory control.
• Workplace Standards: Maintain clean and safe work areas, ensuring all equipment is used correctly and safety measures are followed at all times.
• Additional Duties: Perform other assigned tasks as required to support the smooth running of production operations.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and company policies to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
