What will you be doing?

This role supports the design, development, and implementation of advanced hardware solutions for next-generation Tactical Communications products. It plays a critical part in the creation and maintenance of design systems, test documentation, and technical records to ensure system reliability and performance. The position contributes directly to the delivery of high-quality, production-ready solutions and is actively involved in technical and project reviews to enhance system design. Clear and accurate system documentation is also a key responsibility, supporting both development and ongoing sustainment activities.

Key Responsibilities will include.

• Designing and implementing complex RF, analogue, digital, and communication circuits, including DSP/CPU control with real-time operating systems.
• Developing VHDL systems for functions such as filtering, modulation, decimation, and frequency translation.
• Creating PCB layouts using Altium Designer and ensuring designs meet performance and manufacturing requirements.
• Performing functional, environmental and compliance testing of modules, subsystems, and RF systems.
• Preparing and maintaining design, test, and manufacturing documentation.
• Contributing to electronic product development and support through all phases of concept, production and life-cycle management.
• Investigating emerging technologies and working with stakeholders to define technical requirements.

About You

We are seeking a degree-qualified Electronic Engineer, or from a closely related discipline, with a passion for working across the full product development lifecycle—from concept through design to volume manufacturing. Ideally, you have experience in electronic systems and are looking to deepen your expertise in low-voltage product design, prototyping, and production development. You thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team, bringing strong communication skills, initiative, and a high level of attention to detail. Results-driven and customer-focused, you're motivated by solving complex problems and delivering high-quality outcomes. You demonstrate integrity, meet deadlines consistently, and embody a "can-do" attitude aligned with a high-performance culture.
