Carpet Cleaning Technician

Location: Cairns, Far North Queensland

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Casual (with 38+ hours per week available for the right candidate)

About Us

Safe Clean Services is a locally trusted provider of carpet, upholstery, tile & grout cleaning, and pest control services throughout Cairns and Far North Queensland. We're currently looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our growing team.

No previous experience is required — we provide full on-the-job training. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to build a long-term career in cleaning and restoration services.

Key Requirements:

* Must be friendly, reliable and hardworking with a strong sense of honesty and integrity

* Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and on-call shifts

* Must have valid drivers license with clean driving record (manual license preferred)

* General Pest Technician license is highly desirable (not initially required - willingness to obtain)

* Ability to follow instructions, work well with others and independently

* Casual position with 38+ hours per week for the right applicant.

* Must be willing to undertake training and progress to working solo in the future

Responsibilities Include:

* Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning: Assist in cleaning carpets, upholstery and other surfaces affected by water or general dirt and stains.

* Tile & Grout cleaning

* Removing and disposing of water damaged flooring (carpet, vinyl, laminate)

* Assist in drying, cleaning and restoration of properties affected by water damage

* Cleaning and maintaining equipment used in vehicle provided

To be successful in this role:

* Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently

* Must have/or willing to obtain pest control license

* Must have common sense and a positive, proactive attitude

* Must be available to work a flexible schedule

* Be reliable and eager to learn and grow within the company
