Ramsay Surgical Centre Cairns
is looking for a dedicated and experienced
Theatre Technician
to support our surgical teams in delivering exceptional patient care.

This is a
casual role
perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working closely with skilled clinical professionals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing surgical theatres for a wide range of procedures.
  • Performing cleaning and restocking duties to maintain readiness.
  • Assisting theatre teams with equipment and patient needs.
  • Maintaining and managing surgical instruments and technology.
  • Supporting patient transport to and from theatre.
  • Assisting in PACU cleaning and equipment upkeep.

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Theatre Technician in an operating theatre (essential).
  • Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician Practice / Health Services Assistant or equivalent (essential).
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Clear and confident communication.
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including varied shifts.
