**About the Position**:
Complete Dental Care located on St Kilda road is searching for an experienced full-time Dental Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. Our state-of-the-art, 3-chair practice is dedicated to delivering top-notch, patient-centered care. We pride ourselves on creating a positive, patient-focused environment where high-quality treatment is the norm.

We offer a wide range of dental treatments, ranging from general to cosmetic work including implants.

As a Dental Assistant, you'll work under the supervision of the practice manager and collaborate closely with our dental team. This role offers numerous opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.

Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organized treatment area.

Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels, ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organised.

Patient Education: Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and educate them about oral hygiene and preventive care.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.

Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.

**What do you need to succeed**:

- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is essential
- A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial
- Knowledge of implants is a bonus, though not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
- Attention to detail
