The Role
We are seeking a Warehouse Engineer to provide technical and design support to our Equipment Warehouse, ensuring operational excellence across CB&I projects in Australia. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with engineering standards and equipment specifications, supporting field operations, and serving as a key liaison with CB&I's Corporate Construction Technology Group.
You will also mentor warehouse team members and technical suppliers, contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Warehouse Superintendent in ensuring the equipment fleet complies with all relevant standards and regulations.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design calculations, specifications, drawings, certifications, and inspection records.
- Forecast equipment and parts requirements, assist with procurement, and monitor fleet readiness.
- Provide technical guidance to supervisors and crews using construction equipment.
- Investigate mechanical failures and collaborate with the Corporate Construction Technology Group to implement lessons learned.
- Assist the Operations Manager with budgeting, cost monitoring, and reporting.
- Actively participate in CB&I's Continuous Improvement Programs and other initiatives aligned with company and project goals.

Ideal Qualifications & Attributes
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
- Field experience working directly with crews.
- Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills.
- Adaptable and agile in complex operational settings.
