With a state-of-the-art factory, highly skilled craftsmen, and a strong focus on quality and innovation, we are expanding our team and seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our fabrication facility in Seven Hills, Sydney.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated CNC Operator with solid experience in stone machining and strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software. You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC stone machinery to produce benchtops, vanities, splashbacks, custom architectural pieces, and detailed stonework to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Alphacam, Fusion 360, or similar)
  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC bridge saws, routers, and milling machines
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists
  • Ensure precision and accuracy on all cuts, profiles, and polishing operations
  • Perform quality control checks and verify finished pieces meet specifications
  • Maintain machinery, tooling, and a safe working environment
  • Collaborate closely with our production, drafting, and installation teams
  • Troubleshoot issues related to programming, tooling, or machine performance

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years CNC experience
  • Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM programming
  • Experience with natural stone, engineered stone, or porcelain machining
  • Understanding of tooling, feed rates, spindle speeds, and material behaviour
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings with accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
