Join Liberty Industrial, Australia's leading specialist in industrial deconstruction and demolition.

We are seeking experienced High Reach Excavator Operators to join our team on a 3/1 FIFO roster from major capital cities. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale, high-profile demolition and decommissioning projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Operate high-reach excavators to demolish steel and reinforced concrete structures

Operate large excavators (50t+) on major demolition projects

Execute demolition works in line with engineered methodologies and project-specific demolition plans

Identify and manage potential hazards on site, ensuring full compliance with Liberty Industrial's HSEQ systems

Conduct daily pre-starts, inspections, and maintenance checks

Maintain equipment to operational standards, reporting any faults or issues promptly

Assist with rigging, lifting, and material handling as required

Participate actively in daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety briefings

Work collaboratively with site supervisors and HSEQ teams to maintain a strong safety and compliance culture

Follow environmental and waste-management protocols specific to each site

Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing operational feedback to the project team

Uphold Liberty Industrial's values of professionalism, teamwork, and safety excellence

Skills and Experiences:

Requirements

Demonstrated experience operating high-reach excavators in industrial demolition environments

Proven experience demolishing steel and concrete structures using large excavators (50t+)

Experience in large-scale industrial demolition projects

High levels of safety commitment and proven adherence to HSEQ procedures

Current driver's licence and White Card

Relevant VOCs, RIIs, or nationally recognised machinery tickets

Highly desirable

Experience operating additional plant such as articulated dump trucks, water trucks, service trucks, or wheel loaders

Heavy Vehicle (HR) Licence or above

Oxy-cutting experience
