Job Description

As a Kitchen Hand / Cook at Milky Lane, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with food preparation and cooking across a variety of menu items.
  • Ensuring meals are prepared to Milky Lane's high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Supporting the kitchen team with cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining a tidy work environment.
  • Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Assisting with stock rotation and basic food storage duties.
  • Working as part of a team to keep service smooth during busy periods.

Key Requirements
  • Previous experience as a kitchen hand, cook, or in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Understanding of safe food handling and hygiene practices.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
