Looking for your next leadership move in logistics? Join Team Global Express as our Terminal Manager in Townsville and take charge of day-to-day terminal operations while driving safety, service, and team performance.

You'll lead a busy site, manage a large team, and play a key role in delivering reliable, efficient freight services to our customers in North Queensland.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing daily terminal operations – inbound, outbound, local fleet, and contractors

  • Leading and developing a team of 45+ staff and supervisors

  • Managing performance, costs, KPIs, and compliance

  • Ensuring WHS, NHVAS, fatigue, and DG standards are met

  • Working closely with the Branch Manager to improve service, safety, and efficiency

  • Building relationships with customers, suppliers, and the wider community

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience running or managing depot/transport operations

  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on safety and people

  • Good understanding of transport compliance and logistics processes

  • Ability to manage budgets, rosters, and performance targets

  • Solid communication and problem-solving skills

  • A proactive, hands-on approach
