About UsWith a long pipeline of projects and multiple negotiated design-and-construct residential developments, we are expanding and seeking experienced Senior Contracts Administrators / Project Managers to join our team at our Townsville head office.
This is a key leadership role supporting the delivery of Commercial, Industrial, and Multi-Residential projects, where your expertise will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage design & construct teams through design, approvals, and construction phases.
- Ensure compliance with building legislation, BCA, NCC, and Australian Standards.
- Support and mentor Site Managers across multiple live projects.
- Oversee programming, resourcing, subcontractor management, and budgets.
- Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Provide timely information to meet critical path deadlines.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve construction challenges effectively.
- Conduct detailed project reviews and prepare progress reports.
- Implement QA frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Manage procurement, purchase orders, and payment schedules under the Payments Act.
- Lead office administration staff on project-related tasks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a Contracts Administrator / Project Manager role.
- Proven experience delivering 50+ residential projects annually.
- Strong understanding of contract law, head contracts, and subcontract agreements.
- Solid project management background within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Procore, Buildsoft, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated stability and commitment in previous roles.
- Ability to work independently while contributing as a key team member.
