Job Description:

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to perform various tasks such as excavation, grading, and site preparation.

We have a couple of positions to fill.

  • Position to operate Skid Steers- Excavators ranging from 1.7T to 30T

Operators will require a MR LICENCE to transport equipment to and from sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate excavators and other heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment
  • Assist in site preparation, including clearing, grading and excavation
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards

Requirements:

  • Excavator ticket
  • Construction white card
  • License is necessary as you will be required to move from site to site
  • Previous proven experience required
  • Proven experience as an excavator operator
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Ability to help on the ground when required
  • Other machinery tickets are a bonus
