Mandatory experience with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance is required.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about logistics, people, and performance.

An average day:

• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute action plans addressing systemic gaps in budget performance and resource utilization

• Track and report accumulated savings, operational efficiencies, and financial KPIs to support continuous improvement and strategic decision-making

• Ensure full compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), ISO 9001, HACCP, SQF, and HARPS standards through rigorous process oversight, training, and audit readiness

• Lead and enforce a proactive safety culture by conducting regular site inspections, addressing hazards, and ensuring a zero-harm environment

• Directly manage, coach, and develop a team of 15+ staff, setting clear performance expectations, conducting reviews, and fostering a high-performance culture

• Act as the key liaison between dispatch, HR, and senior leadership to resolve employee relations matters, manage performance issues, and uphold workplace standards

• Monitor dispatch KPIs and operational metrics, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions to ensure continuous alignment with business objectives

About You:

  • You are a confident and capable operations leader with a strong background in dispatch planning and team supervision.
  • You excel at developing and executing efficient dispatch schedules, leveraging real-time tracking systems to monitor performance and quickly resolve issues such as delays, equipment breakdowns, or staffing shortages.
  • Your ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate effectively with team members, customers, and stakeholders ensures smooth operations even in high-demand environments.
  • With proven experience leading teams of 15 or more, you bring a hands-on leadership style and a sharp focus on meeting performance objectives and budget targets.
  • You hold Chain of Responsibility training
  • A Certificate III in Floristry from TAFE would be idealistic but not essential
  • Have completed a WorkCover-accredited OHS & Risk Management course for Supervisors or similar would put you above the rest
  • This role requires early morning starts as part of the working hours and shift patterns.
