About You

  • Strong alignment with Gold Fields' core values demonstrating Safety, Respect, Collaboration and Responsibility
  • Excellent communicator with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a diverse, high-performing team
  • Hands-on experience with underground mining equipment and technologies, including leading OEMs such as Epiroc, CAT & Sandvik
  • Solid track record executing PM schedules, daily equipment inspections, and corrective maintenance for breakdowns
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with highly developed skills in troubleshooting and diagnosing a wide range of mechanical issues 
  • Willing and able to work in both surface and underground workshops
  • Experience with SAP is advantageous

Qualifications and Licenses

  • Australian recognised Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification 
  • Automotive Air Conditioning license preferred but not essential
  • Dogging (DG), Rigging (RB) and Forklift (LF) licenses desirable 
  • Valid WA "C" Class Driver's License at minimum or Australian equivalent
