About the role:

We're currently seeking a talented, creative & passionate Graphic Designer to join our team for a 1 year contract, to roll out our updated Private Label Packaging upgrades to include APCO Environmental credentials.

The successful applicant will work within an in-house marketing design team collaborating with internal and external stakeholders delivering high quality packaging creative, within our set style guides for the roll-out project.

This position will suit a Graphic Designer who loves packaging, graphic design in a fast-paced environment, and wants to work collaboratively as part of a busy team that likes kicking goals and getting the job done.

After the 1-year contract there may be an opportunity to extend, but this is to be confirmed at a later stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for servicing a large variety of Private Label Packaging Design requirements across multiple brands.

  • Working in an agile and enthusiastic team, positioned with the Bapcor Retail Marketing Team.

  • Delivery of packaging across multiple private label brands to meet APCO roll-out requirements on time.

  • Work closely with the Bapcor Private Label Teams (Retail & Wholesale).

  • Work closely with the internal Bapcor Marketing & Digital Teams.

  • Help develop and maintain Private Brand style guides.

  • Maintaining and curating of a DAM & automated workflow portal.

  • Work closely with the other departments, with a tight deadline focus.

  • Accountable for ensuring the production process is kept on track.

We are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Design

  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite- including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Microsoft 365 Suite

  • Minimum 3 years industry experience in a similar environment.

  • Experience in packaging artwork is essential

  • Experience in packaging design

  • Experience in retail campaign design (desirable)
