The Role

You'll work closely with a DB-U Registered Builder, leading a team of carpenters and apprentices to maintain site momentum and ensure every project runs efficiently and safely.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on structure, accountability and high standards.


What You'll Do


• Lead and coordinate daily site operations, delegating and planning ahead.

• Read and interpret plans accurately, managing workflows and materials.

• Maintain strict quality and safety standards across all stages.

• Mentor and develop carpenters and apprentices.

• Communicate clearly with builders, supervisors and clients.


Who You Are


• A qualified carpenter with at least 3 years of hands-on leadership experience and a track record for getting things done right, first time.

• A problem solver who takes ownership — you anticipate challenges, find practical solutions, and keep projects moving.

• Organised, reliable and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• A natural mentor who supports your crew, leads by example and takes pride in seeing others improve.

• You bring a sense of humour and professionalism, keeping morale high while maintaining discipline and standards.
