About the Role
A great opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and energetic Fire Technician/Electrician with a 'can-do' attitude and leadership qualities to join our Darwin team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build and further their career in an evolving industry. Ideally, we are looking for an A class electrician that would like to see themselves become an integral part of a market leading fire protection organisation. Alternatively, you are a Fire Alarm Technician seeking your next step.
Working in a strong team environment, your solid work ethic and high degree of customer service will see you well rewarded with an attractive salary, standard 38-hour week (Monday to Friday), overtime rates as well as fully maintained commercial vehicle to enable you to perform your duties.
Your primary duties will include:
- Carrying out repairs to fire protection equipment to Australian Standards, including but not limited to, fire alarms, evacuation systems and much more.
- Routine testing in accordance with the Australian Standards to fire protection equipment.
- Liaising with customers, promoting a professional and friendly relationship.
- Ensuring compliance to Work Health and Safety requirements.
- Completion of service records using Smart Device technology.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong customer focus and a 'can-do' attitude.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and lead others.
- Basic smart phone and IT knowledge.
- A current Police Clearance or ability to obtain the same.
- Strong commitment to safety in all activities.
- Current valid Driver's Licence.
- Current Electrical Licence.
- Ability to travel and work away from home as required.
