Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator Fitter-Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and welding metal components, with exposure to both manual and robotic welding systems. You'll be working on structural and pipe fabrication projects using a variety of welding techniques and equipment, including automated plasma cutting tools. Afternoon shift or Day shift available


Key Responsibilities
  • Fit, align, and assemble structural and pipe components using clamps, jigs, and fixtures
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
  • Measure and mark materials for cutting, fitting, and welding
  • Operate and maintain CNC plasma cutting systems to prepare components with precision
  • Perform welding using MIG, TIG and Flux-Cored Arc techniques
  • Assist with setup, operation, and monitoring of robotic pipe welding equipment
  • Conduct weld finishing through grinding, filing, or chiselling
  • Perform in-process and post-weld inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality
  • Follow safe work practices and maintain tools in good working condition

Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience with structural and pipe welding
  • Proficient in MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding
  • Hands-on experience with CNC plasma cutting and basic troubleshooting
  • Exposure to robotic pipe welding systems (training can be provided)
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret complex fabrication drawings
  • High attention to detail and quality control
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant fabrication and welding experience
