ESP Recruitment is seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join our client's team in Dandenong South, Victoria. This is a great opportunity to apply your expertise in structural welding and contribute to the success of our growing business.

$50-$60 per hour casual

What you'll be doing

  • Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures from detailed drawings
  • Inspect welds and structures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on a variety of pipe materials and configurations
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure welds meet required standards
  • Prepare and finish welds according to industry best practices
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all relevant health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

  • Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Welder (Certificate III in Engineering /Fabrication Trade or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in heavy fabrication and structural welding
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and general fabrication techniques
  • Strong knowledge of welding procedures, materials, and quality control standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and a solid team player with a strong work ethic
