About the Role

Toshiba has evolved beyond photocopiers to provide our clients with innovative technology solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness across their business operations.

Join our Service Desk team and provide expert technical support for Toshiba Multifunctional devices and printers, software, and solutions. The primary focus of this position is to assist customers via phone, e-service and remote diagnostic tools to resolve issues efficiently. This role offers a dynamic environment where your problem-solving skills and tech expertise make a real impact.

Responsibilities include:

Diagnosing and troubleshooting relating to:

  • Multifunctional Devices and Printer hardware
  • Connectivity, printing and scanning
  • Solutions such as PaperCut and Embedded Multifunctional Device Applications

Remote assistance and training of end users on the proper use of Toshiba Multifunctional Devices and software products.

Maintenance of accurate and complete customer records of all incidents including symptoms, actions and closure details within the ERP system.

Escalate and correctly prioritize incidents, then appropriately channel to internal or external support.

Development and assistance with action plans to manage trending issues.

Other requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft and Mac operating systems with strong skills in Word, Excel, and networking protocols.
  • Experienced in software installation, configuration and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Familiar with ITSM systems and remote support tools.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

  • Formally recognised qualification in Information Technology or associated field or relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting networked Multifunctional Devices and associated Solutions software.
  • Brings 3–5 years of customer support experience and is skilled in implementing and using remote access software.

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be able to work effectively with customers and Toshiba team members across multiple departments and at various levels. Therefore, sound interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation will ensure success.
