About the role

Starling Energy Group is seeking a motivated and skilled qualified Electrician to join our team in Osborne Park, WA. This full-time position will involve installation of solar and battery systems throughout the greater metro area.

What you'll be doing

  • Battery and solar installation as part of a growing and dynamic team
  • Perform installations in accordance with SAA Guidelines and Australian and industry standards
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, following all health and safety protocols
  • Liaise with customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Participate in training to develop your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • WA A-Grade Electrical License.
  • WA Driver's License (Manual).
  • SAA Accredited Installer is advantageous.
  • SAA Battery Accreditationis advantageous.
  • Previous Solar PV & Battery Installation experience will be advantageous.
  • Previous experience working on Alpha ESS or Redback Technologies hybrid systems will be advantageous.
  • Working at Heights.
  • White Card.
  • Be capable of working within a team and supervising an apprentice or trade assistant.
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn

  • $50 - $60 per hour + penalties
  • $2k sign-on bonus on completion of probation period.
  • Company provided Milwaukee power tools.
  • Laptop/Ipad/Phone.
  • Allowance for your own solar + battery or battery only system.
  • support to achieve you SAA Solar/Battery Certification if not already attained.
  • Already have an apprentice you like? If they're a good fit, we will happily take them onboard.
