NQAS Powershed is a recognised leader within the agricultural, industrial and mechanical industries throughout Queensland and is a market leader in replacement parts to suit sugar cane harvesters globally.

We're seeking a creative and motivated Digital & Social Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team on a part-time basis.

This hands-on role will support brand growth across multiple channels, helping drive engagement, visibility, and lead generation for our group of businesses.

You'll work closely with the marketing team to plan, create, and deliver engaging content across digital and social platforms — ensuring our online presence stays active, consistent, and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the company's digital and social media strategy.
  • Plan, create and publish engaging content to social media sites.
  • Monitor and respond to online messages and reviews.
  • Develop digital materials for eCommerce, social media, product management and email/sms campaigns.
  • Track and report on performance metrics to drive improvement.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Proven experience in digital and/or social media marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube platforms.
  • Ability to create engaging written, image, and short-form video content.
  • Competent with Canva, Meta Business Suite, and basic photo/video editing tools.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience with Google Business Profiles, websites, or eCommerce platforms (desirable).
  • A proactive, creative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign).
