Design & Engineering

CPP has the largest in-house design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia, with over 170 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural, and SCADA disciplines. We provide end-to-end engineering solutions for high-voltage infrastructure, including nationally significant transmission projects, HV substations, wind farms and battery storage systems that drive Australia's renewable energy transition.

Our engineers work closely with construction and operations teams, ensuring designs are practical, constructible, and continually refined through real-world feedback. The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Secondary Systems Drafter to join our dynamic Secondary Engineering Team in Adelaide.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our Design Engineers to develop detailed drawings and documentation for medium and high-voltage secondary infrastructure, supporting some of Australia's most significant utility and renewable energy projects.

You'll work within a supportive, highly skilled team where your expertise will help shape designs that are both innovative and practical for real-world application.

Skills and Experiences:

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Demonstrated experienced in Medium or High Voltage Electrical Drafting of Secondary Systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with knowledge of MicroStation favourable
• The ability to interpret and implement design information provided by Secondary Design Engineers and Design Managers
• Tertiary studies are highly regarded
• Experience working on utility and/or renewable energy projects is favourable
