Role Details:

Join the Department for Child Protection (DCP) as an Access Worker based in Elizabeth (Playford office). In this rewarding role, you'll support safe and meaningful family access visits for children and young people, helping them stay connected to their parents, carers and culture. Working closely with colleagues and families, you'll create a positive and supportive environment that promotes wellbeing and connection. In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and facilitate access visits between children, young people, parents and carers.
  • Transport and supervise children during visits to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
  • Build supportive and respectful relationships with children and families.
  • Respond calmly to challenging behaviours and help promote positive interactions.
