Purchasing Officer Global Organisation

Location: Thomastown

Full-time 5 days per week (initially casual with view to permanent in the new year)

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Purchasing or Procurement professional looking to step into a key role where you'll manage supplier relationships, purchasing operations, and inventory control from end to end.

You'll be joining a well-established international company with a strong local presence and a reputation for quality and reliability. Working onsite in Thomastown, you'll have the scope to make this role your own while being supported by an experienced leadership team.

What you'll be doing:

Overseeing all purchasing and procurement functions

Managing supplier relationships, pricing, and lead times

Monitoring stock levels and ensuring supply continuity

Using ERP systems to manage orders and reporting

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination

Strong negotiation and communication skills

High attention to detail and strong organisational ability

Software experience with SAP, Ariba, and Basware highly regarded

Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
