We're currently looking for a friendly and reliable Receptionist/Sales Assistant to be the face of our gym. If you're someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a social environment, and has a genuine interest in health and fitness, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role

We are seeking a well-presented, customer-focused Receptionist/Sales Associate to join our team at [Gym Name]. As the first point of contact for all members and visitors, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service, maintaining a professional front-of-house environment, and contributing to membership growth through effective sales and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, professional, and efficient reception service to all members and guests
• Respond to general inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
• Conduct facility tours and support the membership sign-up process
• Process payments, bookings, and maintain accurate member records
• Promote and upsell memberships, personal training packages, and current offers
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the reception and communal areas
• Support daily administrative duties and assist with operational tasks as required

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in customer service, front desk, or sales (fitness or hospitality industry preferred)
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional presentation and a positive, approachable attitude
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Proficiency with computer systems; experience with CRM or booking software advantageous
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $24.95 – $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
