Somerville Kindergarten is a not-for-profit, community-based sessional kindergarten offering quality early childhood education in a warm and welcoming environment. We have one group of 3-year-olds and two groups of 4-year-olds, supported by a small, passionate teaching team of six. Our team values collaboration, respect, and strong connections with children and families. As a community-run service, we take pride in creating a nurturing and inclusive space where every child can thrive.

Description

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our small, community based team starting Term This permanent part time role is based in our 4-year-old program, working 24 hours per week (Tuesdays and Fridays 8:00 - 4:30, plus planning/lunch cover on Wednesdays - Flexible hours) The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), and Child Safe Standards, be confident in creating inclusive, play based and open ended learning environments. We value collaboration, respect, and genuine relationships with families and children. The position is offered under the VECTEA.
