UGL is pleased to announce an opportunity for industry candidates to join the UGL Fuels & Energy-East Team for the upcoming Moomba Shutdown in Moomba South Australia.  Starting the end of September, this role is 13 on and 1 off roster (day/nightshift) until the end of October 2025.

This opportunity will see you join a highly experienced team with a reputation for delivery, working together with our customers to develop and provide solutions.

To be considered for the role, ideally you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Experience as a Leading Hand
  • Australian Recognised Trade Qualification – Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner
  • Construction Industry Induction (White / Blue card)
  • Gas Test Atmospheres current within 3 years
  • High Risk Work Licence – WP and LF highly desirable
  • Confined Space current within 3 years (Desirable)
  • Work at Heights current within 3 years (Desirable)
  • Breathing Apparatus current within 1 year (Desirable)
  • Previous experience working in an LNG plant
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team
  • High levels of attention to detail
