Position Descriptor:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Preschool teacher to join our team at Minlaton District Early Learning Centre. Minlaton is located on Yorke Peninsula, in South Australia, and approx. 200km from Adelaide.

2026 is an exciting time in our community as we commence 3-year-old preschool.

This position involves working within a team of Preschool and Occasional Care educators that share the learning space. We value a collaborative approach with a focus on inquiry-based learning and using the local community.

The applicant will be involved in writing and implementing the learning program as well as documenting children's learning and goals. Preferably the applicant would have sound knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework and be willing to build their knowledge about inquiry-based learning and documentation.

The applicant will be involved in ongoing site improvement through the National Quality Standards and Quality Improvement Planning.

The applicant will be required to work collaboratively within a team environment, having effective communication skills, showing initiative, professionalism, organisation, and commitment.

The position also requires the establishment and maintenance of positive working relationships with educators, children, families and the wider community.
